Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the E-commerce
    business objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Draft and review technology-related contracts, including vendor agreements, service level
    agreements (SLAs), and technology partnership agreements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contracts align with regulatory
    requirements and business objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favourable outcomes for the
    organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Lead the tendering process for technology-related projects, ensuring compliance with
    procurement policies and regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define tender requirements and evaluation
    criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Evaluate and select vendors through a competitive bidding process, considering factors such
    as cost, quality, and timelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Ensure that all technology-related contracts and tenders comply with relevant legal and
    regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact technology contracts and
    tenders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the technology
    department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of the E-commerce platform, ensuring
    scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business
    requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, integrating technology to streamline operations and
    enhance the customer journey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement across the E-commerce
    ecosystem.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring the selection and integration of
    best-in-class solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize costs and deliverables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity measures to protect customer data and ensure
    compliance with data protection regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Implement strategies to address potential security threats and vulnerabilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Lead research and development efforts to identify new technologies that can drive
    competitive advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Evaluate and recommend technology investments that align with the company’s strategic
    goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with
    organizational goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitor and report on technology-related expenditures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to understand
    technology needs and drive cross-functional initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality
    software and technology solutions.
    Requirements:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 10+ years of experience in a technological role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience with a proven track record of successful
    technological leadership and strategy development in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
    related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within the E-commerce
    industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms, technologies, and trends.
    Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management within the
    technology and E-commerce sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and procurement practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Strong analytical and financial skills for conducting cost-benefit analyses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to technology contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective vendor management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation and innovation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
