Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tendering process for technology-related projects, ensuring compliance with
    procurement policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define tender requirements and evaluation
    criteria.
  • Evaluate and select vendors through a competitive bidding process, considering factors such
    as cost, quality, and timelines.
  • Ensure that all technology-related contracts and tenders comply with relevant legal and
    regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact technology contracts and
    tenders.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the technology
    department.
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of the E-commerce platform, ensuring
    scalability, reliability, and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business
    requirements.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, integrating technology to streamline operations and
    enhance the customer journey.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvement across the E-commerce
    ecosystem.

  • Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity measures to protect customer data and ensure
    compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Implement strategies to address potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Evaluate and recommend technology investments that align with the company’s strategic
    goals.
  • Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with
    organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on technology-related expenditures.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to understand
    technology needs and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality
    software and technology solutions.
    Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a technological role.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience with a proven track record of successful
    technological leadership and strategy development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
    related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within the E-commerce
    industry.
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms, technologies, and trends.
    Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and management within the
    technology and E-commerce sectors.
  • Familiarity with tendering processes and procurement practices.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills for conducting cost-benefit analyses.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to technology contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective vendor management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation and innovation.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
